Our Story

I started Morning Hearth for one simple reason  - I couldn’t find sourdough bread that truly tasted the way it should. Bread with a golden crust, tender crumb, and the kind of depth of flavor that only comes from patience and care.​Baking feels like second nature to me.

 

My family has spent generations in the craft of flour milling, so working with grain has always been part of my life. When I became a mom, my connection to food - and the memories it creates - became even more important. I wanted bread in our home to be something special, something we could gather around and share.​

 

Now, every week, I bake small-batch sourdough in my home kitchen. Every loaf is shaped by hand, slow-fermented for flavor, and baked to order - so you and your family can enjoy bread the way it was meant to be.​At Morning Hearth, I believe bread is more than food - it’s a moment of comfort, a reason to gather, and a taste of home.
